yay for style shake
I have ordered another dress off www.styleshake.com What a great idea! A range of fabrics, and the ability to create your own design and tailor it to your own measurements.

where does sarah brown shop
Sarah Brown is my role model. Well her and Fergie, oh and Catherine Tate. Marcia Cross, Melissa Gilbert and Julianne Moore would be there too, if only they ate a bit more. But Sarah is great. She's real, she's in her fortys, she's got red hair (yay) and a fabulous warm English autumn complexion (yay, yay, yay). She can look absolutely dreadful (hoorah, I can do that too!), and yet paradoxically she can also look absolutely fabulous (dit-oh).
But where on Earth does she get her clothes. All those lovely dresses that come just below the knee (see http://www.dailymail.co.uk/femail/article-1198691/Sarah-Brown-changed-outfits-times-day-G8-summit--did-right.html ). The hits, the dresses that are simple and elegant in a range of flattering colours. I've looked on Erdem and Graeme Black and Jaeger websites, yet I'm baffled. Skinny models abound, dancing around in flouncy details and difficult to wear styles.

But where on Earth does she get her clothes. The hits, the dresses that are simple and elegant in a range of flattering colours. I've looked on Erdem and Graeme Black and Jaeger websites, yet I'm baffled. Skinny models abound, dancing around in flouncy details and difficult to wear styles.

and the problem is ....
I'm curvy, not fat! A typical English pear shape. Wider hips than tits. 5-10 and size 8 feet. My hair is red/auburn and my "colour" warm.
My disposable income is average, and I want to buy quality clothes. Pah! Fat chance. Where are the clothes.
This is my struggle. My blog to dioritise my search for:
- curvy clothes not fat people's clothes (why do designers equate curvy with fat)
- clothes made of quality fabrics (why are they always designed for women with skinny hips)
- under the knee dresses and skirts (where are they all)
- colours other than black or white (comeon you designers how about a bit of navy, teal blue, aubergine or even some patterns)
- jewellery that isn't plastic or cheap, but bold yet elegant
In short, good quality clothes that don't cost the earth, but that will fit and flatter my English body. That will be comfortable to wear and easy to look after.
